Simon , I just wanted to pass on our thanks for the work done. We were very happy with the end result. Peter did a great job ? sought our opinion and explained everything as he went along. We are very satisfied and have no doubt the vents will assist in the drying process. We will call you for a pest inspection and a review of the drying in 6 ? 12 months as suggested.

Peter made some other suggestions, so when we proceed with the drainage in the front of the house we will review our options of vents in the front of the house.

Firstly, the work was well doneyesterday and we were really pleased that everything was left clean and tidy.
Secondly, Peter the workman allowed our pet chook 'Orange Legs' to escape from under the house, where she has been for the last month! We lost it just before Xmas and my son Justin was really sad. So, you can imagine my surprise when it re-appeared on the patio this morning, if rather hungry! He is thrilled and says that the workman found it!

Just wanted to write and say that Peter did such a great job installing the sub-floor ventilation system last week at my place in Fitzroy. It was a particularly tough job and was so hard working and professional. At one point he spotted some red wiring that 'showed' too much against the house and he went back and fixed it. He just seemed to me to be someone who took the job seriously and wanted to get it right.

I would like to thank you for the time you spent talking to me on the phone about the property we were looking to purchase. It was great to talk to someone who was really interested in helping to ease our concerns. John came to the property on Monday and was fantastic. Sub Floor Ventilation ; We purchased our new home about 18 months ago. Our home is a large house (about 50 squares) and has living areas over three levels as the house is built on a steep block. The sub-floor space is huge and the previous owners had concreted a small portion of the sub-floor area so it could be used as a workshop.

The house is about 20 years old and when it was built the builders put small slits in the brickwork at infrequent intervals (i.e. not the standard 2.2 metres apart) to serve as the sub-floor ventilation.

Over the last 18 months we have had mould growing on the sub-floor soil and the humidity under the house was incredibly high (i.e. about 85%). The stale smell from under the house was progressively getting worse.

We had Simon visit and do an evaluation in terms of what we could do to improve the situation. Simon was great and explained the situation very clearly along with how the situation could be addressed. This involved installing 30+ passive vents, 5 twin low voltage fans and 2 in-line fans.

Peter then came and spent several days at our house cutting out many holes, installing the vents, fans and in-lines fans. He asked our opinion on a number of occasions, to ensure we were going to be happy with things cosmetically, etc. The job was very neat and tidy and he cleaned up afterwards.

Peter did a great job including mixing the mortar to match the house's existing render.

Good Service: In times when service levels continue to slip through the perceived pressure of cost increases and competition, I believe it is important to take the time to recognise excellence. Several months ago, I discovered the impact of termites and through necessity required the house to be treated. The treatment team were punctual, courteous, and efficient and undertook the task in a professional manner. Nothing less than what I expected. Unfortunately, the subsequent inspection of the work indicated that the treatment had not been totally successful.

However, when there is a problem, it is usually also when the service levels drop dramatically. In the ensuing visits, that's correct, visits to ensure that the treatment had been completed successfully, your administration staff and the treatment and inspection team have established a level of after sales commitment and excellence that should be acknowledged. I was always made fully aware of the status and the issues being addressed.

I am undoubtedly your least profitable customer. But there is old say sales belief that a good sales story will be related to 4 other people while a bad experience will be told to 9. Exopest's excellence has already seen me exceed my good sales story quota. No doubt what you are investing in the professionalism of your service team will reap benefits in the future. Termites: I am writing to express my appreciation of the work carried out on my unit. I was extremely stressed by the termites, so on the day of treatment was stressed out. Mike arrived at the time expected. He walked through the unit with me and explained what he would be doing. Realising how upset I was, he sent me off. Leaving a number for him to ring on completion of the job. He moved all furniture and I had forgotten to remove pictures from a book case, which he did. He also said "where is your vac"? He phoned as promised and I returned to settle up the account with him. I was thrilled to find everything back in the correct place, even pictures on the book case, floor vacuumed, and be told I could get my cat from the vet (I had boarded him for the time) and settle back home. People always complain about service, but in my opinion your staff are first rate and give 120% satisfaction. Once again thank you.

Dear Simon,

The friends of Rotary Camera Club wish to thank you sincerely for your gift of a Weber BBQ for our raffle.

Your donation has contributed to a progressive total of over $11,000 for a worthy project.

The money will be used to build an extension to the small Shri Sringeri primary school in a remote village of Kathmandu, Nepal.

The extension, costing around $37,000 will allow some 180 underprivileged children, mainly orphans, to get some form of education, which is vital to survive in this poor, beautiful country.

Local Rotary Clubs will manage the project, and all the money raised will be injected into the local economy.

Nothing is deducted for administration or other expenses for any Rotary project anywhere in the world, since its 1.3 million members are all volunteers.
